Hi, my name is Ben and I am the youth pastor here at McCorkle FWB Church. Being a preachers kid, I have attended church my entire life and was saved at the age of 7. I felt the Lord calling me into ministry at the age of 21 and after wrestling for several months, I announced my calling to preach the gospel in July of 2017 at the age of 22. My wife, Hailley, and I were married just a month and half later so she has literally been by my side since day one of ministry. The Lord called us into our first ministry in June of 2019 when our first son was born, there is no ministry like the one we have at home. Since that time, we have added two more to the family. We now have three children, Declan, Darci, and Dawson.
In 2019 we found ourselves looking for a church for the first time in our young married lives. We simply prayed that God would send to a place where I could use my calling and our family could grow. The Lord answered that prayer when he sent us to McCorkle in January of 2020. Little did we know all that would be in store. I was later ordained in
November of 2021 and began the journey as Pastor of Children and Youth. It is the joy of our lives to be able to serve our church and the families in it. At this time, my wife and I run our children’s church program that takes place every Sunday at 11 am as well as AWANA’s which takes place every Wednesday’s at 6:45 pm. In addition, we also have annual functions such as fall festival/trunk or treat, easter egg hunt, vacation bible school and church camp.
